Terms of Service
Last updated: 11 June 2026
1. Scope
These Terms of Service govern the use of DevCru's website and the services we provide, including web development, app development, design, maintenance and consulting. By engaging our services or using this website, you agree to these terms.
2. Services
DevCru provides bespoke digital product development. Project scope, timelines and deliverables are defined in a separate proposal or statement of work agreed upon before work begins. Any changes to the agreed scope may result in additional costs and timeline adjustments.
3. Quotes & Payments
Quotes are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated. Payment terms are outlined in the project proposal. Typically, a deposit is required before work commences, with remaining payments tied to project milestones or upon completion. All fees are exclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
4. Intellectual Property
Upon full payment, ownership of the final deliverables (code, designs, assets specifically created for the project) transfers to the client. DevCru retains the right to use the project in portfolio and marketing materials unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing. Third-party assets (fonts, stock imagery, libraries) remain subject to their original licenses.
5. Confidentiality
Both parties agree to keep confidential any proprietary information disclosed during the course of the project. This obligation survives termination of the working relationship.
6. Limitation of Liability
DevCru's liability is limited to the total amount paid by the client for the specific project in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from the use of our services or deliverables.
7. Termination
Either party may terminate the agreement with written notice. The client remains liable for payment for all work completed up to the termination date. Deposits are non-refundable once work has commenced.
8. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of the Netherlands.
